Welcome to The Old Oak Tree
Wednesday, June 19 2013 @ 09:52 AM MST John David Campbell Generation 5![]() John David Campbell John David Campbell was the son of Logan Campbell and Louise Combs. Logan passed away in his early 20s leaving Louise to raise two children alone. John was probably an infant when his father passed away. He had one biological sister, Elvira Campbell. Soon after Logan's death, Louise married Patrick Fugate. Patrick raised John and Elvira as his own. That is why you will find them in the home of Patrick Fugate as children and listed as Fugate issues. This is misleading. John, known as John Beard, told my father that he was orphaned and raised by Patrick Fugate. John eventually met and married Miss Sarah Ann Noble of William and Nancy Kilgore Noble. Together they raised thirteen children: Laura Belle, Mary Blanche, Stella Mae, Joe, Chester, Nick, William, Myrtle, Granville, Wayne (above), Marie and Ella Mae. They purchased a farm in Lost Creek at Big Branch in Perry County, Kentucky. There is where they lived out the rest of their lives. Sponsored Ads
