HENRY'S LIFE AFTER DIVORCE: Henry did not return to visit more than a couple of times before 1971 when he returned and settled in Bay City, Michigan. He had set up household with Gladys Smith in New York. In his later years, Henry was a shoe salesman for Mason Shoes. When he would visit the Mason’s Factory in Wisconsin, he would stop by and visit his son Richard. During his golden years, he married Beulah Spear on 4-3-86. Beulah was instrumental in bringing Henry back to his family. She came to family weddings with him. Beulah had five children on her own. Henry and Beulah lived in near Sun City, Arizona. With Beulah’s influence, Henry became active in the church. Henry died 6-21-1989 from cancer while in Arizona. His funeral was held he Arizona. His ashes were buried in the Freehand Cemetery, Michigan.

AGNES MEETS HENRY: Agnes met Henry at a dance she went to with Herman and her sister Esther. Henry had just broken up with a girl he was said to be crazy about. Aunt Clara claimed that Agnes chased Henry. Lois says she thinks Agnes probably cared for him more than she really did for the others who became part of her life.
